The Silver Screen

I absolutely love movies. Tonight I was torn between watching The Transporter or Where the Heart Is. Now there are a couple from opposite ends of the spectrum! In the end I watched neither--I've seen them both. BUT there are new movies coming out that look good. A couple I want to see, and which may warrant the price of a theater ticket, are Vantage Point and Jumpers. Another one, that I hadn't heard of until today is Be Kind, Rewind. It stars Jack Black and Mos Def, who must be hysterical together! This is more DVD worthy (I am so cheap), but it's one to keep in mind. A couple of others for DVDage are The Counterfeiters and Charlie Bartlett. The first is a foreign WWII drama for a serious evening and the second is about a resourceful high schooler soothing the angst of his classmates. But I will forget about them all by the time they're on DVD!!
