The race results have been posted--yea! My "chip time" was 56:49 with which I am quite happy. I wish the local paper published chip times instead of gun times, because that put me over an hour! Oh well....
One cool thing, though, is that I pretty much started and finished the race with the wife of one of my co-workers! I've never met her, but recognized the name in the results, and he told me that was indeed his wife. I just think that's neat.
Donations and support are still coming in and being added, but as of now, this race has raised a whopping $302,170 for the UVA Breast Center!!!! W-O-W!!! That is an incredible amount, I think, and for a worthy cause.
